Elite Fleet Week!

Ladies and gentlemen, we hope you're having a delightful Halloween!

Rather than candy, we have another little gift for you: it's the Elite Fleet Week content pack!



We're releasing upgraded versions of the greatest military vessels in history—the Yamato, the H. M. S. Hood, the U. S. S. Enterprise, and the Bismarck! And this time, all of these new ships can be Upgraded in the Navy Research Lab!

We've also rolled out a collection of improvements and bug fixes!

Additions/Improvements

• We've added a "Big Spender" Leaderboard, for coins spent.

Fixes

• The Zumwalt now has its name spelled correctly. >.<
• Fixed an exploit that allowed players to build some units for free. Sorry guys. :P
• Fixed a number of small graphical issues.
• Miscellaneous other bug fixes.

New Campaign: Molten Terror!

We are proud to announce that today marks the release of our second campaign: Molten Terror!



The Molten Reef Islands have been devastated by the eruption of a mega-volcano, and it's up to you to rescue the survivors!

It won't be easy, and along the way you'll have to deal with new villains...


New enemies...


New quests...


New islands...


And even new battlefields!


Anyone who is level 25 or above will be able to participate in the new campaign. You'll see a new little icon down in the bottom right corner, which will allow you to switch back and forth between the original campaign ("Wrath of the Raven") and Molten Terror.

This IS on a slow roll-out, so if you don't have access yet, be patient! We will have it rolled out to everyone within a week.

As if that weren't enough, we're also rolling out our second campaign Mini-Series today!



The new Element Z Mini-Series is our second Campaign Mini-Series (the first being the Lucky Mermaid), and you'll notice a lot of familiar features. We use branching quest paths, extra-awesome rewards, and a final bonus in the form of a water-based Element Z rig, which provides a permanent source of Element Z!

WHACK To The Future!

Are you looking to fight with the units of the future? Our latest LE content pack is for you!



This content pack includes 2 new units—the X-2 Copter (in both regular and Elite versions), and theZumwalt—a brand new Battleship.

We've also rolled out a number of bug fixes and updates!

Fixes

• Lower level PVP battles should no longer be infested with Golden Villain Units from the Mastery Factory.
• Players should no longer see an apparent energy loss when visiting neighbors.
• The Facebook friend selector should be back to displaying the correct lists of friends.
• Miscellaneous other bug fixes.

Yamato II, New Experimental Units, and more

We have a ton of cool stuff to roll out today!

First of all, if you look closely at your Empire today, you may find a peace offering from one Kai Tana!



This is the beginning of a whole new quest series! Here's how it works:

We have a series of six quests, each of which has its own special rewards. Each day, a new quest unlocks—you can only do the first quest on day 1, while you can do the first and second quests on day 2, etc. If you complete all the quests before the timer runs out, you'll get a brand new elite Yamato II Battleship!

Once you've unlocked all the different quests, you can repeat them and get more Yamato II Battleships!

That isn't all that's coming out today—we're also releasing a whole batch of new Experimental Units!



Dr. Seabolt has been hard at work! We've got a whole bunch of new Experimental Units rolling out today!

We'll be adding them shortly to the Experimental Units Guide, so keep your eyes peeled!

Lastly, the Mastery Factory rolls out today!



It's time to start cashing in those tokens from Campaign Mastery! You can turn them in here to build special, extra-powerful Golden versions of the normal villain units!

Many of these features are on slow roll-out! We'll get them pushed to everybody as soon as we can, so please be patient!

We've also rolled out a number of bug fixes and updates!

• The Golden Mermaid deco should no longer be greyed out for some users.

The Lucky Mermaid is back for a limited time!

That's right, the Lucky Mermaid has returned!



If you were looking for one more opportunity to earn the elusive Golden Mermaid, this is it!

Please note: Your progress from the previous iteration of the Lucky Mermaid quest chain has NOT been saved. You'll have to start from the beginning if you want to earn another Golden Mermaid, but you still get to claim all the rewards along the away again—and you can choose a different quest path this time!

The Lucky Mermaid mini-campaign will continue all the way through October 26th, so be sure to get your quests finished before then!

Halloween Week!

It's time to celebrate Halloween Week, soldiers!



We've rolled out a bunch of cool new stuff with this release, including the Ghost Ship (which we previewed on our fanpage!), as well as three different sizes of Haunted House! This is an actual house, not a decoration—It provides rent and population as well as good looks!

Of course, There are more units coming out tomorrow...

We've also rolled out a number of bug fixes and updates!

Improvements/Additions

• We've added two new Experimental Units, the Army Ambulance and the Medivac Chopper!
• More Leaderboard updates!

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the player fight list in the Battle Blitz bar displayed off-center.
• Fixed an issue where the game would become unresponsive after posting two feeds in a row.

Campaign Mastery!

This week we're introducing Campaign Mastery!



You can now go back and re-play all those old campaign missions for special rewards!

Clearing all the battles in a certain island a second time will earn you a star on that island, as well as a token! Keep these tokens, you'll be able to save them up to purchase rewards later!

Of course, there are other fixes and improvements in this build, including new leaderboards! Go check them out and see!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears: Oh My!

It looks like we're not in Kansas anymore—Empires & Allies has been overrun by Lions, Tigers, and Bears!

Oh my!



This new release will allow you to build the Mountain Lion AFV as well as the King Tiger Tank! We have a new unit coming out tomorrow as well—for you military buffs, can anyone guess what tomorrow's unit is? 

We've also rolled out a number of bug fixes and updates!

Improvements/Additions

• We've rolled out a new batch of Leaderboards! Go check them out to see what's on the list today!

Fixes

• Commando Infantry in enemy formations are no longer invading one another's personal space.
• Fixed an issue where the user disconnected after collecting rewards from 6 Golden Mermaids in a row.
• Miscellaneous other bug fixes.

10/6: Survival Mode, Golden Mermaid Casino, and more!

In this release we're rolling out some new features...including Survival Mode!



This is a new way of playing the game, which hearkens back to the old arcade game days! Fight against wave after wave of enemies, and try and get the high score!

Build the new War Room and get ready for the fight of your life! You'll get small rewards for each wave of enemies you defeat, and larger rewards every 5 waves.

This is a slow roll-out! Please be patient if you don't have the feature yet. We're hoping to have it rolled out to everyone within the next day or so!

That's not the only thing that's coming out today—today is also the day that the Golden Mermaid Casinoopens its doors!



If you can find a few people to gamble with you, you have a chance to win fabulous prizes, including buildable parts, coins, and even Empire Points!

We've also pushed a number of bug fixes and updates!

Improvements/Additions

• You can now build level 2 Power-Ups in the Power-Up factory!
• We've updated the Leaderboards with new goals!

Fixes

• You should no longer get the "ActiveUnit_FightConfirmDesc" error on units on your gameboard!
• Greyed-out units on your gameboard should now be working properly!

Size Matters!

It's true, soldiers...Size Matters!



This week's Limited Edition Content Pack brings you some of the BIGGEST military units in history!

Go into battle with the K-7 Bomber, NLOS Artillery Cannon, and more! New units will be unlocking tomorrow, so be sure and check back!

We've also pushed a number of bug fixes and updates!

Improvements/Additions

• We've added a new Leaderboard for repelling invasions on your neighbors' Empires!
• Empires & Allies now uses a Fluid Canvas! You can re-size your browser and the game canvas will automatically update to match.

Fixes

• The problem with the enemies not appearing in the Battle Blitz bar should be fixed.
• Clicking the Leaderboards button should no longer cause crashes in certain languages.
• You now get loot for invading Experimental Buildings.
